The Jedi is known for its sensibility, wisdom and love for peace. Here in Manila, we have our own version of Jedi. And mind you, they are almost everywhere. How do you detect them?
Most of the time, the Pinoy Jedi does not hesitate to use his power or force. Whenever he crosses the street especially on the main roads, he doesn't follow the traffic lights. He would cross the street anytime he wishes. He would stop the cars and jeepneys by waving his hand over the cars just like Yoda.
I think it's a lot of misuse of power. A simple observance of traffic light as to when to stop (with the red light) or when to cross the road (green light), will do. Pinoys have to learn urbanidad. After all, we are in the city and not in a faraway galaxy..

Regarding the misuse of power, i strongly agree with that.. however there is a factor which encourages people to disobey some rules.. i think this is because the people who are implementing these rules are too lenient, this makes people break the rules because there is nothing to be afraid of.. i guess one the factors that makes laws effective is the punishment given to those who dare break it.. a perfect example is the city of Makati, compared to other areas in Manila, me as a driver never goes in the vicinity of Makati not wearing my seatbelt because law enforcers in this area are really strict and you will surely be punished for breaking this law, and when it comes to QC for example, i dont really care if my seatbelt is fastened or not..
Carl, i think for your own safety you have to wear a seatbelt always. :)
